This is an annual event for Troop #10 which is generally held in the month of July. Summer camp is usually six nights long starting on Sunday and ends the next Saturday. Funding is through fundraising events and/or monthly deposit to the Troop Treasurer. Activities include crafts, swimming, rank advancement, merit badges, and optional boating or high adventure (usually for older scouts).
Each scout (Youth and Adult) must have a physical examination form completed and on file with the troop before going to summer camp. Physicals are to be renewed annually.
Our troop works with a deposit and installment plan for summer camp fees. Financial assistance may be available upon request. The average cost for summer camp is approximately $250.00 per scout but this does change with different camps.
